A retail concept that splits the store down the middle like an opened trunk. One half is wrapped floor to ceiling in a bold checkerboard, and the other is a calm, minimal lounge where the LV initials are built into the furniture instead of printed on it. Loud architecture sits against quiet, unbranded pieces, making the case that real luxury doesn’t need a logo.
Hand-drawn studies of interiors, botanicals, figures, and mechanical objects, made only in black ink on white. The drawings pair the rigid geometry of architecture and machinery with the loose, organic forms of plants and people, using nothing but line weight and negative space.
A table lamp that rises from a base of coal and tar, through beeswax and bamboo paper, to a box of pure light, tracing the path from darkness and pessimism toward hope. Because it can be flipped, the owner decides which side prevails, light or shadow.
